Mei Zi 美子, based in Tainan is a whimsical potter. She draws inspiration from her sensory exploration of nature as a child growing up in rural lands of Chia Yi, and produces teawares exploring different surface textures and colours. This simple Gaiwan is elegant and neat in form, like a girl-next-door amongst Gaiwans. It is suitable for brewing most teas as it is glazed interiorly.
