Among the well known Hongchas of Yunnan includes Dian Hong 滇红, which refers to Hongchas grown in Yunnan - this is one of such. This batch is grown in 凤庆 Feng Qing county, from 云南大叶种 Yunnan big-leaf cultivar. Made from young leaf buds, as evident by the plenty golden tips in the dry tea leaves, the resultant brew is clean, smooth and uncomplicated! With notes of malt and raw sugar, with a subtle floral nose, no milk and sugar needed to enjoy the flavours!
