Inspired by the Chinese Wuyi Mountains Lapsang Souchong 正山小种 , the original pine wood-smoked black tea! This second flush batch of cultivars AV2, P312 and B157 are harvested at an altitude of 1675 to 2130masl from the highest estate in Darjeeling - Gopaldhara! Carefully smoked with pine wood, the resultant brew is a light-bodied, slightly smoky and woody, with notes of dried longans and grass jelly. A simple, uncomplicated black tea, perfect for indoors on rainy grey days.
