The famous Jin Jun Mei 金骏眉 is a relatively new style of processing black tea developed in 2005, which evolved in Wuyi Mountain’s from the famous Lapsang Souchong. This batch hails from the neighbouring township of Nanping, made from the local un-named cultivars collectively named 菜茶 , and harvested at an altitude of 1100masl. We like it brewed with mineral water to bring out a malty rounded texture, with notes of honey sweetness, scented wood and a highlight of rose! No sugar and milk please! Best drank neat to enjoy the flavours!
