Kyeong Hee is one of the few lady potters who does wood kiln firing, due to the physical demands of the firing process. She thus bring a more elegant and feminine element into these wood kiln fired pieces. Her style of tea bowls are kept simple, mainly using Shino and Ash glazes, and focussing on the forms of the tea bowls. We love her choice of these two contrasting Shino glazes. They will make a smaller sized matcha bowls, or big drinking bowls for darker teas like puer or hongcha when drinking on cold days.
