As a High Mountain Oolong 高山茶, Shan Lin Xi oolongs are our personal favourite. Grown amongst cypress trees and bamboos, the flavours are more mellow and woody - our Taiwanese tea friend had described the tea as a more masculine one among High Mountain Oolongs! This batch is moderately oxidized and unroasted, harvested from Da Lun Mountain 大崙山 at 1100m above sea level. With notes of bamboo embedded in a buttery floral and corn sweetness, this cup is both invigorating and grounding!
