We first got acquainted with Yukiko's items when we chanced upon them in at an exhibition in Taipei! As a ceramic artist who also brews tea, she makes teaware that are practical for tea brewing. The moulded shape of this katakuchi reminds us of white gourds! They are glazed with a white matt glaze - Yukiko likes its effect of softening the harsh flavours of stronger teas!
