We first got acquainted with Yukiko's items when we chanced upon them in at an exhibition in Taipei! As a ceramic artist who also brews tea, she makes teaware that are practical for tea brewing. We think her gaiwan pieces have a rounded compact proportion, which gives it a somewhat 'kawaii' form. This small porcelain gaiwan is perfect for kungfu tea brewing for 1 person or tasting small portions of tea. Porcelains are also suited to brew all types of tea neutrally, and is recommended for the tea brewing who enjoys a range of teas!
