Grown on the pristine lands of the Himalayas at an altitude of 1850masl, this hand crafted lot was harvested in deep winter from mixed local cultivars including P312, T78, B668, B157 and AV2. It has a good mixture of leaves and golden tips aka young unopened buds, which contributes to its complex flavours. With muscatel notes reminiscent of craft made Darjeelings 2nd flushes, the brew is fruity with floral hints on a backdrop of honey sweetness. Recommended if you like your breakfast tea rich and strong!
