A beautiful rustic kyusu by Mr Park with his characteristic pairing of raw texture and beautiful wooden handles. The pot is made from materials foraged from his hometown of Mungyeong, from his own clay mix of iron and local clay, and wood from the region for the handle. The pot is fired in the anagama kiln, which the area of Mungyeong is known for. We love the character of the kyusu - the contrast of the rugged texture of the glaze and the polished grains of the handle lends a humble yet elegant style to the teapot!
