We like the little 龙珠 ‘dragon balls’ versions of compressed raw puer not just because they look adorable, but also because it is less of a commitment than the big bricks of raw puer that we more commonly sea! This tea is made from tea trees aged 500-800 years old grown in pristine mountains of Mang Fei 忙肺 at an altitude of 1300m. The brew is gentle and delicate especially if brewed at a lower temperature. Bring out rock sugar sweetness in the first few steeps with mineral water at about 85 degree celcius. Up the temperature after to 90 degrees to enjoy the lively yet delicate floral notes, and a evolved sweetness more similar to cane sugar. Enjoy!
