The famous Jin Jun Mei is a relatively new style of black tea production that was created in 2005, developed in Wuyi Mountains from the famous Lapsang Souchong style of black tea making. This batch hails from the neighbouring township of Nanping, made from the local small leaf cultivar 小菜茶 harvested from an altitude of 1000m. Packed full of golden tips, this brew is slightly smoky with cocoa sweetness, a elegant choice of breakfast tea that requires no sugar and milk to enjoy!
