Rice Husk Glaze exteriorly, transparent glaze interiorly.
Fired in a Mangdaengi Kiln at temperatures between 1250 and 1300 degrees celcius.

Mr Park's characteristic rice husk glaze teapot is rustic and elegant at the same time. The sculptured handle and base is a frequent stylistic form of Mr Park's. Also, as the rice husk glaze's shade changes with the temperature of the firing, there is a slight gradient to the colours on the teapot. The glazed interior suits this teapot for most teas. Our personal preference is to brew highly fragrant roasted oolongs and hongchas with this teapot!
