Made from 100% linen fabric carefully woven in Hamamatsu, the fabric was immaculately washed and carefully dyed to produce a textured shade in Niigata.
The fabric was then carefully sewn in a factory specializing in bed linen. The thickness of the fabric facilitates quick drying if wet. The dimensions of the towel is to allow versatile usage: use it as placemat, dinning napkins or hand towels. Of course at Pekoe and Imp, our preference is to use these beautiful cloth as tea brewing towels, beautiful as chabu for setting the teawares, and as a tea cloth for wiping during tea brewing.
