The compressed tea with the golden fungus! This is in short what the Fu Zhuan tea is about! This Fu Brick Teas has the cleanest flavours among all we have tasted, with notes of Luo Han Guo, Goji Berries and mild floral highlights if brewed more lightly! Brew stronger for a medium body mouthfeel! This batch is grown in Hubei Province's Wu Feng District, by young farmer Chen Xiao Feng, he harvests the raw material in late spring, and delivers them to be processed into Fu Brick tea in Shaan-Xi province. Fu Brick tea's characteristic 'yellow flowers' is the spores of the fungi eurotium cristatum is critical in determining the quality of the Fu Brick tea, and the spores are definitely not lacking here.
For brewing, we suggest an initial rinse, as for all compressed teas. This tea will require higher temperatures of about 90-95 degrees celcius to brew.
