We think that the Honey Orchid Dancong is the best 'ambassador' of Chinese teas. Fragrant, sweet and rich, who wouldn't enjoy a cup of this oolong? Traditionally grown in Phoenix Mountains by the Teochew people, the Dancong has been the traditional tea of the Teochew people for hundreds of years. This batch is grown on the famed Wudong area of Phoenix Mountains, which is the highest tea growing region. As this micro batch is more oxidzed, the flavours are rich with lychee sweetnessand floral notes layered with a slight hint of the minerality which gives the tea a soothing warmth mood. This oolong is easily appreciated by amatuer and geeky tea drinkers alike.
