Tea tastes better with pretty tea things! Yes maybe thats all in our head, but the beauty of the hand carved wooden tea scoops by local Singapore wood-craft artist Xinnie is undeniable. The small tea scoop is made to scoop teas out of cannisters and tea bags more easily - we like to turn the cannister or bag while holding the tea scoop inside to allow the leaves to fall on the scoop instead of 'digging' into the tea leaves, which may damage the tea leaves. Each piece is different because wood grains and hand craft work just can't be exactly replicated! And natural wood items age with time if cared for, with richer wood colours and softer texture. How lovely is that?
