The shape was especially designed to allow the drinker to appreciate the tea leaves before tipping the leaves off the narrow end into the brewing utensil. Each piece is different because wood grains and hand craft work just can't be exactly replicated! And natural wood items age with time if cared for, with richer wood colours and softer texture. How lovely is that?
