This oolong does not have any added honey! The sweet flavours are inherent in the tea due to various factors: the Jing Xuan cultivar of tea plants are known for sweeter flavours, the tea has been bitten by green leap hoppers which triggers defensive reactions that create sweet notes, and the tea is slightly roasted to caramelize the surface of the leaves. We love mildly roasty and sweet fruity flavours of this moderately oxidized oolong!
