We thought this was an unusual piece by Mr Hong. Simple, rustic and raw, we were drawn to its simple form. The clay peeks from under the white glaze at the foot, enough for one to appreciate the roughness of the clay and the milky texture of the white glaze. We imagine this a fitting accompaniment to a small kung fu style teapot, the sort where the brewed tea cools down just nicely to be sipped on a warm summer day.
