Jan Pavek is one of those potters who first knew tea, then pottery. With his vast experience of tea, he made teapots suited to brew tea. We can tell that Kung Fu style is his preference because of the tiny size of many of his teapots. Keep in mind that he only took 1 year of weekly lessons, is largely self taught and went full time only a year ago! Its obvious to us that Jan is naturally talented in tea pottery.
This teapot is unglaze interiorly, thus we recommend that the teapot is dedicated to certain types of tea once decided. This teapot is suited to brewing white teas, oolongs, hongchas and dark teas.
