For folks new to tea and looking at a good starter kit for personal brewing, this is a perfect opportunity to kickstart your tea journey! The session explores the whole spectrum of 6 categories of teas, from green, white, yellow, oolong , hongchas (western blacks) to dark teas (fermented teas), and guides you through the science and philosophy of brewing. Participants brew a tea and share their brews with fellow brewers, and brings home their gaiwan and teacup set, setting up for an exciting path of home tea-brewing!
The gaiwan and teacup set is handmade by Janice Chan, a Singaporean potter who revisited her girlhood pottery dream after establishing her career as an accountant! Her pieces are clean and soft in style. The set that accompanies the work short is in light blue.
Limited to 8 participants only!
