Dian Hongs 滇红 refers to hongchas/ black teas made in Yunnan! This ultra gentle Dian Hong is harvested and made on Mt Wuliang 无量山 in Puer City, Yunnan, grown at 2300masl, harvested on a preQingming day! Like the gentle flavourful raw puers which Mt Wuliang is known for, this Dian Hong derives its sweet non- astringent flavours from the deep roots systems of the mountain’s aged trees. Its light-bodied, clean brew carries notes of cedar wood, which develop into floral notes and a hint of malt with multiple brews, and lingers on in the aftertaste!
