Taiping Houkui 太平猴魁 Spring 2026

A green tea that leaves a huge impression! Made from 1 bud + 2 top leaves like most fine green teas, the Taiping Houkui 太平猴魁 is made from a ‘middle-sized leaf’ tea species called Shi (translates to Parsimons) Big-Tea 柿大茶 , harvested slightly more maturely than most green teas, resulting in its size and characteristic ‘orchid’ fragrance 兰花香! The traditional method leaves its mark on the leaves with grid imprints from baking between wire mesh! Brews a smooth liquor with gentle sweetness and an orchid floral fragrance!
