Yukiko's creations are simple, elegant and clean in form! This simple white shiboridashi is inspired by the Japanese earthern ware Donabe, made with heat resistant, porous clay and glaze that a Donabe pot may use! As a potter who is also a avid oriental tea brewer and drinker, her works are ergonomically made for tea brewing!

Despite the stoneware nature of the pot, the wide-opening loses heat more quickly, thus suits the pot to brew most teas.

White Stoneware with white glaze, fired in a gas kiln at 1200 degrees celcius.
