Yukiko's creations are simple, elegant and clean in form! This simple white gaiwan is elegant and easy to brew with, made with the heat resistant, porous clay and glaze that a Donabe pot is usually made of! As a potter who is also an avid oriental tea brewer and drinker, her works are ergonomically made for tea-brewing!

Despite the stoneware nature of the pot, the wide opening loses heat more quickly, thus suits the pot to brew most teas.

White Stoneware with white glaze, fired in a gas kiln at 1200 degrees celcius.
