Honey Orchid Dancong Hongcha 单丛红茶 Spring 2026

Dancongs 单丛 are teas traditionally made and drank by the Teochew people from Phoenix Mountains, well loved for their naturally occuring fruity and floral flavors. Dancongs made into Hongchas (western black tea) instead of the usual oolongs are considered the alternative! This batch is harvested from Honey Orchid cultivar bushes in Tian Zhu Keng village at 700masl from 90 year-old bushes. Brews a cup with smooth roasty cooked lychee sweetness, with a floral finish as brews progress!
